Treatment Fees
Treatments will be invoiced according to the official table of costs for german alternative therapists (GebüH).
Depending on the method of treatment, extent and duration you can expect to be billed 120,-€ to 160,-€ for an initial consultation and 40,-€ to 70,-€ for TCM follow up treatments. Osteopathic sessions range between 90,- and 130,- €.
Refunds:
In general the public health insurances of Germany do not reimburse invoices from alternative therapists (Heilpraktiker) for Traditional Chinese Medicine. However there have been exceptions regarding acupuncture.
Public health insurances may have a program to reimburse osteopathic sessions up to certain amounts and times per year. You can visit Osteokompass to check the conditions of your Krankenkasse.
If you have a private insurance, in which the contract involves services of alternative therapists, your costs will be refundable according to the terms and conditions of your contract.
