Treatment Costs and Course of Therapy
Treatments are billed according to the German Fee Schedule for Alternative Practitioners (GebüH).
Sessions at the Oberfranken–Witzmannsberg location cost a flat rate of €120 and last between 45 and 90 minutes. The focus is not on the duration of the treatment, but on achieving a meaningful therapeutic result.
The Witzmannsberg practice is currently open two to three days per month.
This means that therapies for chronic conditions are primarily offered here.
Acute issues that require multiple treatments over a short period should be handled by colleagues with a permanent local practice. I am happy to assist you with a telephone or in-person consultation to find suitable support.
Of course, you may also book an appointment for a general check-up or for relaxation.
Reimbursement:
Statutory health insurance (GKV): Public health insurers generally do not reimburse alternative practitioner invoices for Traditional Chinese Medicine. However, there have been exceptions in the field of acupuncture.
Some statutory health insurers offer reimbursement for osteopathic treatments up to a certain number of sessions and a fixed maximum amount. You can find an up-to-date list of these insurers and their terms on Osteokompass.
Private insurance: If you have private health insurance that covers alternative practitioner services, costs can be reimbursed according to the conditions of your policy.
