About Soma

Soma Farzaneh, born in 1988 in Isfahan, Iran.

Extensive professional experience in body and movement therapy with a focus on integrating Chinese medicine, manual techniques, and somatic practice. Training in acupuncture, Tuina, and Chinese herbal medicine, complemented by ongoing clinical and practical education.

Her therapeutic approach is shaped by the integration of structural bodywork, energetic methods, and movement. The central focus lies in making regulation not only a subject of treatment, but something that becomes accessible through perception and movement.

Solid practice in Qigong and Taiji, along with several years of experience in Gaga Movement Language as a differentiated approach to movement, body awareness, and functional organization. This results in a working method that combines classical therapeutic intervention with guided self-perception and movement.

This development is further complemented by an artistic and academic background with a focus on body, space, and perception. The integration of therapeutic and artistic practice leads to an expanded understanding of movement as both a functional and a consciousness-shaping process.

Current focus is on deepening her work in Chinese medicine and integrating acupuncture, Tuina, and movement therapy into a clearly structured treatment framework within a broader integrative model.
